Donald H. Paris, 54, 3733 W. 19th St., died Saturday, May 27, 1989, after a brief illness.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Leslie White officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. today with a prayer service at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Mr. Paris was born June 6, 1934, in Winterset, Iowa, and attended schools at Sloan, Iowa. He had lived in Sioux City since 1959. On August 1, 1964, he married Sharon Enfield in Vancouver, Washington. He worked for Sioux Transportation for 18 years.
He was a member of Teamsters Union Local 383.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harley and Donald, both of Sioux City; four daughters, Linda Solomon, Brenda Allyn, Debra Moriston, and Carla Paris, all of Sioux City; his mother, Mrs. Violet A. Birkhofer of Onawa, Iowa; a sister, Joy Oeth of San Francisco, Calif., and nine grandchildren.
Donald was the son of Harley A. Paris and Violet Anna Olson. Father of 6 children, diesel mechanic, married to Sharon Marlene Enfield.
