LAKE ELEVEN MAN PASSES AWAY

On Sunday, November 29 at 2 A.M., John Allers passed away at the home oh his daughter, Mrs. Paul Haworth of the Lake Eleven community. Mr. Allers was born in Germany November 19, 1857, being 79 years and 10 days of age at the time of his death. He was married in 1885 in Germany and with his wife and family came to the United States in 1897, settling at Belle Plaine, Minnesota. In August, 1898, Mrs. Allers passed away; since that time Mr. Allers has made his home in this community and at Sandstone.
Left to mourn his passing are three daughters, Mrs. Paul Haworth (Martha) and Mrs. Warren Cleveland (Bertha), both of the Lake Eleven community, and Mrs. Stolp (Grace), of Pine Lake; one son, George, of Rochester; two brothers, George Allers of Sandstone and Jacob Allers of Henderson; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Westfall and Mrs. Katie Holstine of Belle Plaine; also six grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. One brother preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held at one o'clock at the Haworth home and two o;clock at the Kroschel German church. Casket bearers were John Schuh, Gust Paul, Arvid Felt, Charles Wichner, Maynnard Withoff and Walter Ekdale.
The Lake Eleven community extends deepest sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
