Roy F. Hornor, 87, of West Lafayette, died Saturday, April 3, 2010, at his residence at Indiana Veterans' Home.
He was born Oct. 2, 1922 in State Line, Il. to the late Jesse and Ercil Goldie Brown Hornor. On Dec. 28, 1946, he married Georgia Bannon in Lafayette. She preceded him in death on Nov. 10, 1992. He was also preceded in death by a son, David M. Hornor; 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn Beason (husband: Milton) of Lafayette; two sisters, Mary Maddox of Cairo, Ga. and Ruth Dunlap of Thomasville, Ga.; 3 grandchildren, Sherri McGlothlin (husband: John Frigo), Kathy Kramer (husband: Phillip) and Steven McGlothlin; 3 great-grandchildren, Rachael Yeary, Abbigail Nichols and Quentin McGlothlin; a special niece, Karon Lawson and several other nieces and nephews.
He served in the U.S. Air Force.
