COLUMBUS JUNCTION, Iowa -- Waunita Noble, 66, Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a very brief illness.
According to her wishes there will be no memorial services at this time. Burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
Mrs. Noble was born March 28, 1938, in Moscow, the daughter of Myril T. and Lucille M. Lane Wiese. She married Donald C. Noble Nov. 3, 1957, at First Methodist Church, Muscatine.
She graduated from Muscatine High School in 1956.
She had been a resident of the Columbus Junction area since 1964.
She had worked at Thatcher Glass Co., Muscatine, for 9 1/2 years and the New York Life Insurance Co., Columbus Junction, for 9 1/2 years.
She was a former member of the WIBC for 15 years, bowling at Deaton's Bowl, Columbus Junction. She was of the Methodist faith and a long-time member of the Iowa Farm Bureau and AARP.
Survivors include her husband; three sons; Michael Noble and wife, Debra, of Iowa City, Mark Noble of Panhandle, Texas, and Douglas Noble and wife, Veronica, of Columbus Junction; four grandchildren, David Noble, Danielle Noble, Julia Shanae Noble and Britton Noble; two step-grandchildren, Kyle Haiduk and Ruby Garcia; two brothers, Wade Wiese and wife, Elaine, of Mission, Texas, and Myril Wiese Jr. and wife, Jean, of West Des Moines; and a sister, Joyce Wiese of Columbus Junction.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Wesley Wiese, 2, in 1941.
