Mae L. Fee
MONTICELLO - Mae L. Fee, 86, Rt. 1, Monticello, died at 12:50 p.m. Saturday in White County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Findley, Ohio, April 4, 1901 to Samuel and Caroline Koch Bair.
She was married Nov. 23, 1923, in Kokomo to Clarence C. Fee, who died in 1975.
Surviving are one son, John F., Rt 1; one daughter, Carolyn M.
Lee, Monticello; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by one great-grandchild arid two sisters.
She was a member of the Eastern Star in Monticello for more
than 50 years. She also was a member of the American Legion
She and her husband operated Frank's Lodge on Lake Shafer for seven years. She also operated a bowling alley in downtown Monticello and a Monticello hobby shop. She had lived in Monticello
since 1938 after moving from Lafayette.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Cemetery with the Rev. William Weckerly officiating.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Miller-Voorhis
Funeral Home. Eastern Star rites will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
