North Smithfield - Marie A. Berube, 92, of 33 Woodlaawn Road died yesterday at the Friendly Home, Woonsocket. She was the wife of William Berube. Born in St. Theophile de Beauce, Quebec, a daughter of the late Charles and Celina (Guillemet) Cormier, she lived in the Woonsocket area for the past 84 years.
Before retiring in 1959, she worked for 15 years as a cook at the lunch counter of the old Beaupre's Pharmacy, Woonsocket.
She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Bernadette Duquette of North Smithfield, Mrs Jeannette Menard and Mrs. Aurore Kiczak, both of Woonsocket; a brother Joseph Cormier of Bradenton, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Aurore Lussier of West Hartford, Conn.; 16 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held tomorrow at 9 A.m. at Holy Family Chirch, South Main Street, Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Blackstone.
