Mr. Michael Almasian of Route 4, Box 692, Belair Road, Martinez, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, July 5, 1977, in an Augusta hospital. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Thomas L. King Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Olin Sizemore officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Goodwin, Earl Wright, Lamar Frost, Ronnie Crawford, Henry Seigler and Clyde Rawlings. Mr. Almasian, a native of Adana, Lebanon, had lived in Augusta 27 years. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was retired from U.S. Army. Survivors include his widow, Beona Hill Almasian; six stepsons, Robert R. Yates, Summerville, S.C., Harold G. Yates, Taiwan, Ray H. Yates, C.W. Yates, and Donald Berry, and Jay Yates, Augusta; two brothers, Vaonijan Almasian and Anthony Almasian, Massena, N.Y., and one sister, Helen Hachigian, Detroit, Michigan.
