PRESHO - The funeral of Lewis W. Titus of Presho, who died Friday from injuries received in a fall on Saturday, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from his late home in Presho. Interment will be in Presho Cemetery.
Mr. Titus, 62 was born in Presho, a son of the late Homer and Emma (Warner) Titus, and lived his entire life on the same farm where he was born. He served as Justice of the Peace in Lindley Township for a period of 17 years. A member of the County Farm Bureau. Mr. Titus was held in high esteem throughout this community.
He was united in marriage to Mable Woodcook, who died in 1937. They were parents of two children, Ellen and Ammon Titus, both at home. Mr. Titus then married Mrs. Alice Smith Titus of Orr Hill, who survives him. Other survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Herbert J. Hamilton of Sayre, Pa.; a brother, Robert Titus of Wyoming; a sister, Mrs. Neilesmay of Binghamton; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
