Riley Harklerode, 87, Jackson Township, died Thursday at the home of his son, Harry Harklerode, of complications resulting from a stroke. He had been ill the last two weeks. He was born in Champion Township, July 18, 1849, the son of John and Eliza Morey Harklerode and had lived practically all of his life in Jackson Township. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Reformed Church, N. Jackson. Surviving are: three sons, Fred of Warren, Charles of Champion Heights and Harry of North Jackson; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The body was removed to the W. J. White Funeral Home, N. Park, and will be removed to the Harklerode residence, N. Jackson, Saturday at 4 where friends may call at any time after 6 p.m. Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Reformed Church, N. Jackson.
