Chief of Police Duncan Police Department.
Involved in a shootout with armed robbers near the Lawton/Duncan "Y" on May 13, 1930. Chief Gossett was seriously wounded in the stomach. He recovered somewhat and was able to return to work, but was never well and died from the effects of his wound.
