Karlee Beth Atkins, 20 month-old daughter of Kip and Davonne Atkins of Seymour, died Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at her home. Karlee suffered for several months from complications of mitochondrial disease. Karlee’s short life brought tremendous joy to many, many people. She was a special little girl that stole the hearts of everyone she had contact with. Karlee Beth will be sadly missed by all. Our hope is to someday be with her again, but until that time we have sweet memories of Karlee to treasure. Funeral service 7 PM Thursday at Atchley’s Seymour Chapel with Rev. Roy Berrier and Dr. Clarisa Cuevas officiating. Interment 10 AM Friday in Boyd’s Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kent Atkins, David Hurst, Chad Benton, and Doug Clifton.
