Maynard Erwin Rankin was the son of Benjamin M. Rankin and Mamie Erwin. He married Ruth Estelle Folk.

Rankin Rites Set For Today
Services for Maynard Erwin Rankin, 64, of 1310 Courtland Ave. who died Sunday at his residence, will be today at 5 p.m. in Memorial Chapel. The Rev. William M. Waddell will officiate with burial in Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Q. R. Noland, Carl Parker, Tommy Rankin, Ed Schlueter, Marvin Severin, and John L. Parrott.
Mr. Rankin was a native and lifelong resident of Macon. Mr. Rankin was a storeroom overseer for the Bibb Mfg. Co. for 35 years. He was educated in the Bibb County public schools having graduated from Lanier High School. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
Mr. Rankin was the son of the late Benjamine M. Rankin and the late Mrs. Mamie Erwin Rankin.
Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Estelle Folk of Macon; one brother, Max J. Rankin of Macon; three nephews, Maxie Rankin, Jr. and Jerry Rankin, both of Macon; Tommy W. Rankinof Atlanta; one niece, Mrs. Richard Dunlap of Macon, two great nephews and eight great nieces.
Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
