Daughter of: Edward E. Mertel & Emma Gertrude Severs.
******************************
Dora Emma Mertel was born June 26, 1880 in Clinton, Henry County, Missouri to Emma Gertrude [Severs] and Edward E. Mertel. She married William Edwin Robertson on February 26, 1896 in Klickitat County. William was severely injured in an accident at the Trost planing mill and he died of those injuries on October 31, 1918. Dora married George Wilson on March 26, 1930 in Vancouver, Clark, Washington. George would die five short years later on February 4, 1935. Dora Emma Wilson passed away on October 18, 1949 in Clark County, Washington at the age of 69. She is buried in Plot: Block Section 134 Lot 1. [Researcher Note: I diligently looked for Dora's gravestone. Her grave is located in the same lot as her both her first husband William Edwin Robertson and her husband George Wilson. W E Roberton's gravestone is a relatively large upright stone; however, I noted no stone for Dora or George. The grass was several inches high so it is just possible that if theirs were very small stones, they could be missed.]
Special Recognition goes to Mary Gosney and Mavis House both who have donated a great deal of time and effort into compiling this information.
