Married Helen Ridgway in 1938 and they had a four kids---Judi, Gene, Jim, and Peggy. They were married for 34 years until his death in 1972.

Graduated from Auburn in 1939.

Vice-President of Laurel Machine & Foundry Company from 1939-1972. His father, James Warren (Jim) Mulloy, was the 1st President and his mother, Lilley Quimby Mulloy Lancaster was the 2nd Vice President from 1917-1936.

J. P. Mulloy Dies at 57

A long time Laurel businessman, James P. (Pat) Mulloy, 57, 2430 Old Bay Springs Road, died unexpectedly Friday night at a Laurel hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was vice president of Laurel Machine and Foundry Company.

He was born and reared in Laurel and attended Laurel City Schools. He was a veteran of World War II and had served as flight instructor. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. G. Elliot Jones and the Rev. William Crosland officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Sunday. Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Helen Ridgeway Mulloy; two daughters; Miss Peggy Mulloy, and Mrs. James (Judi) Kates, both of Tallahassee, Fla.; two sons, Gene Mulloy and Jim Mulloy, both of Laurel; and three grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Curtis Noble, Paul Thaxton, W. H. Howard Jr., R. Z. Pepper, Cy Emery, Jimmy Pope, Dr. James Moye and Ben Ray Grant.

Honorary pallbearers will be employes of Laurel Machine and Foundry Co.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the scholarship fund of Lilley Mulloy Lancaster of First United Methodist Church.

Memory Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
