MRS. MAXIE LOUISE CLARK
Mrs. Maxie Louise Clark, 86, of Oakwood, died Friday morning, Jan 26, in a Grundy hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born at Clintwood, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Nannie Hall Willis. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the widow of John Henry Clark.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Blankenship and Miss Lois Clark, both of Oakwood; four sons, Henry Clark of Wickliffe, Ohio, Harold Clark of Mantua, Ohio, Clifford Clark of Oakwood, George Clark of Honaker; one sister, Mrs. Maude Blankenship of Cleveland, Ohio, one brother, Charlie Willis of Richlands; 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Garden United Methodist Church at Garden Cree, with Rev. Raymond Amos officiating. Burial followed in the Hankins Cemetery at Richlands. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
