Former Fairfax Resident Dies in Charleston.
Charleston, Aug. 3 – Dedrich Martin Cone, 74, died at a local hospital this afternoon. He was born in Fairfax, the son of late John C. and Sarah Smith Cone. He had been employed by the Moore Dry Kiln company of South Carolina. He is survived by his widow, the former Virginia Deer; two sons, G. Henry Cone of Charleston and Harold W. Cone of the Unites State navy; three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Gray and Mrs. S. C. Rogers of Charleston, and Mrs. E. S. Till of Orangeburg; two brothers, D. S. Cone of Fairfax and M. S. Cone of Franklin, La.; and four grandchildren. He was a member of the Baptist church. The body will be taken to Fairfax Friday, where the funeral will be held. Funeral Arrangements are incomplete.
