Brownsburg — Lewis W. Clary, 77, died June 11, 1995. He was born October 7, 1917 in Morgan County. He married Helen Stewart December 12, 1941; she survives. Clary retired from Ransburg Electric Coating Company in Indianapolis after 10 years as a field representative. He was a sales engineer for 20 years with Federal Mogul Corporation in Indianapolis. Clary was a member of the Franklin Methodist Church, Brownsburg Masonic Lodge and Order of Eastern Star. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sally Jo Creekbaum of Brownsburg; a half-brother, David Persinger of Dayton, Ohio; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Graveside services were conducted June 13 at Brownsburg Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Dewitt officiating. Burial was at Brownsburg Cemetery.
Lewis was born to Lewis H Persinger and Nina Gant. After the death of his mother, Lewis was adopted by his Aunt Nannie (Persinger)and Uncle Worthy Clary. Lewis has half-siblings: Henry, David, Charles and Margaret Persinger.
