Died at East Porter, Tuesday, January 9th, at half past eleven, Mrs. Wm. Porter, aged 68 years. The deceased was a very estimable lady, well-known and beloved throughout the town. She, with her husband having resided at East Porter nearly forty years. A large and pleasant family were born to them, several of whom are now living. The lamented lady had a paralytic stroke on the day mentioned, and lived only about two and a half hours. Many friends will sympathize with the bereaved husband and family, left to mourn a kind wife and mother.
