Retired from the U.S. Army in 1976. Served two tours in Vietnam. Highly decorated NCO. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sharon Kay Owens Seward, and one son, James P. Seward,Jr. Another victim of Vietnam.

A Special Note: I just wanted to say thank you so very much to everyone that has left a memorial to Jim. It means alot to me.

Jim's little dog that I bought for him 3 years this Christmas. He went everywhere Jim went.....And was with him the night that he died.
