Graveside services and burial for James Herman Richey, Jr. of Hobbs were held 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Chapel of Hope-Hobbs Funeral Service.
Mr. Richey, 73, died Monday, Oct. 20, at Columbia Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born July 24, 1924, in Texas. He married Lola on Aug. 26, 1976 in Lovington.
He was a veteran of World War ll.
Survivors include his wife of the home.
His parents and one daughter, Jo Lane Richey, preceded him in death."
This was James second marriage. First marriage is private. Richey is survived by two sons. Marlin Dale Richey and Gary Joe Richey.
