Mary Ann/Marion married James McInnes 4 December 1842, Lanarkshire, Glasgow, Scotland. They moved their family to the United States about 1865. Their children were Margaret Lindsay, James McInnes, John McInnes, Hugh McInnes, Mary Forrest, William McInnes, Peter Ray McInnes, Thomas McInnes and Elizabeth "Lizzie" R. Morris. Three children, the first John, the first William and the first Mary died as children in Scotland. Her parents were James and Margaret Rae.
