In loving memory of Marie Barbara Hunt, May 1, 1905-May 12, 2002: Marie B. Deters was born May 1, 1905 in Farmer, South Dakota, the daughter of Anthony F. Deters and Anne E. (Koppert) Deters. She received her education at Emery Catholic School and then worked at St. Joseph's Hospital, in Mitchell, South Dakota. She married Charles W. Hunt on February 8, 1930, in Holy Family Catholic Church, Mitchell, South Dakota. She and her husband farmed in the Bridgewater, South Dakota area until 1961, then retired and moved into Bridgewater. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, St. Stephen's Christian Mothers, and the American Legion Auxiliary
Among her survivors are two sons and two daughters; Nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; one brother and one sister-in-law; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on January 1, 1980, one son Kenneth, five sisters, three brothers and one grandchild.
