We are unable to know for sure, but some in my family suspect that the significant number of stillbirths and early infant deaths in this family might be related to Rh incompatibility in mother and child. I have been able to document 18 live and stillbirths for John James and Sarah Ann Burris, and from my documentation, only 8 of their children lived to adulthood.
