| Birth: | Sep. 27, 1825 County Dublin, Ireland | | Death: | Jul. 14, 1884 Virginia City Storey County Nevada, USA |  Pvt. Chas. Lynch served with Co.D 1st Nevada Vol. Inf. During the Civil War of 1861-65. He also served in putting down the Native up rising of 1864-65.And He was slightly wounded in the right leg for his troubles. After the War he worked as a Miner until his health gave out in 1882 and then he started to collect a Gov't pension of $15 a month for his war service. He died on July 14th 1884 due to Miners complaint or stone dust chest and General disability. At 59 years of age.
