He was born March 9, 1915 to Charles and Elizabeth Fiock Barcus. He married Frances G. Jones on March 3, 1940, in St. Joseph. She preceded him in death on Dec. 11, 2005. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 11 brothers, four sisters and a son-in-law.
He is survived by his children, Dan and Joyce Barcus, Barbara J. Hall and David and Sandy Barcus; nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
