ROCKDALE — Services for Billy Charles Green Sr., 59, of Rockdale will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pecan Street Church of Christ in Rockdale with John Mitchell officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.
Mr. Green died Sunday, March 21, in a Rockdale hospital.
He was born on Aug. 8, 1950, to Cornelious and Gertharine Black Green in Sandy Creek. He worked as a production helper at Alcoa for 31 years retiring in 2001. He then worked for the city of Rockdale and retired in 2008. He was a member of Pecan Street Church of Christ in Rockdale.
Survivors include two sons, Billy Charles Green Jr. of Taylor and Benny Earl Green of Hondo; four daughters, Anicia Hatch and April Green, both of Taylor, Angela Green of Austin and Tina Green of Cedar Park; four brothers, Bennie Green of Corpus Christi and Elias Green, Richard Green and Ronnie Green, all of Rockdale; six sisters, Vera Nell Sanders of Phoenix, Juanita Rogers and Doris August, both of Houston, Mary Butler of Tyler, Kay Barefield of Rockdale and Ethel Mae Shelton of Corpus Christi; his mother of Rockdale; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale
