Marion Johnson died at his home adjoining Boonville, last Tuesday, after a brief illness of fever, supposed to have been induced by a tumor affliction upon his back of several years standing. He was 41 years of age and leaves a wife without family. He was the youngest son of Kella K. Johnson and a member of a large and noted family in this county, being a brother of Alvah Johnson of Evansville. His remains were interred at Maple Grove by the G.A.R. Post, Wednesday.
