Mrs. Grace Mae Ferguson, 79, of 214 W. Second St. died Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. A daughter of S.G. and Sarah Simmons Etter, she was born Oct. 25, 1885 at Rocky Mount. On April 22, 1908, she was married to Lunda L. Ferguson who died April 30, 1954.

Mrs. Ferguson had been a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church since Oct. 3, 1901. She and two other members were honored at the church last Sunday for their long membership, but Mrs. Ferguson was unable to attend the service.

Mrs. Ferguson was a lifelong resident of the Rocky Mount and Eldon communities.

Surviving are a son, Leeman E. Ferguson of the home; daughter, Miss Anna Frances Ferguson of ST. Louis; three sisters, Mrs. L. L. Russell and Mrs. Roy Madole, both of Eldon, and Mrs. Frances Kidwell of Phoenix, Ariz.; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today, Thursday at the Phillips Chapel with the Rev. R.E. Schwartz officiating. Burial will be in the Dooley Cemetery under direction o0f Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon. Pallbearers: Carmen Madole, Bob Madole, Bill Mais, Leland Melton, Emal Dunstan and Tom Procter.
