Funeral sevices for James Loyd "Coon Bone" Braden, age 70, of Campbell, Texas, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Tapp Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Richard Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Black Oak Cemetery with Larry Jumper, Larry Crist, Bobby George, Bobby Richie, James Gilbreath and Chuck Bonewell serving as pallbearers.
James Loyd Braden was born September 18, 1939 in Como, Texas, the son of Felix Braden and Lois Cook Braden. He married Brenda Friddle in Sulphur Springs, she preceded him in death in 1978. Mr. Braden was employed by the Rockwell Co. for a number of years. He loved to fish with his buddies at Lake Tawakoni and hang out at the Como store. Mr. Braden passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Campbell.
Surviving family includes daughter, Jamie Gore, and husband, Dewayne, of Campbell; grandsons, Charlie Ross and Jesse Sewell; granddaughter, Jordan Gore; great grandchildren, David Ross and Catrina Ross; sister, Betty LaFerney.
Family will receive friends Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Tapp Funeral Home from 6:00PM to 8:00pm.
