Mrs. Bertha Corlew, 72, 711 Mill St., Tipton, died at 4:50 p.m. Thursday afternoon in the Tipton County Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for the past three months. Services for the deceased will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Pilgrim Holiness Church with Rev. Arthur Davis officiating. Burial will be in Fairview cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Mitchell Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday or at the church for one hour prior to services. Mrs. Corlew was born March 1 1896 in Glazen(?) Indiana to Arthur and Christine (Hartley) Woolsey. She was married Aug. 19, 1915, to John Corlew who survives. She attended school in Missouri and was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, Tipton. Surviving with the husband are three daughters, Mrs. Nina Farlow, of Tipton; Mrs. Betty Michell, Milwaukee, Wisc.; and Mrs Lana Daugherty, of Oak Creek, Wisc.; and three sons; (the rest of the obituary can't be read.)
