Painter dies after apparent fall from ladder inside store
A North Lauderdale man died Monday after he apparently fell from a ladder while painting inside Gennaro's Farmer's Market, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
Anthony Bucaro, 51, was discovered dead on the floor inside the business at 5150 N. State Rd. 7 about 3:45 a.m. Monday next to his paint, the Sheriff's Office said. The business owner told detectives he saw Bucaro about 3 a.m. painting the inside walls of the store.
When another store employee arrived later, Bucaro's body was lying on the floor next to his paint, the Sheriff's Office said. It appeared he had fallen from a 15-foot ladder, the Sheriff's Office said. No foul play is suspected.
