First Page Boy Killed in France
Mrs. Mamie Sours, of near Ida received a telegram from the War Department on Thursday afternoon that her husband, Robert Sours, had been "killed in action" on the 13th of August. Young Sours left with the Page contingent early in March, and was one of the first selected men of this county to go to France. He was about 24 years of age and was married to Miss Mamie Fox, daughter of Edward Fox, of near Culpeper, about three weeks before going to Camp Lee. Besides his wife he is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Sours, of near Ida, and three brothers, John in France, (who left Page at the same time) and David and William at home. Deepest sympathy goes out to the bereaved family.
