Born and raised in Bronx, NY. Married in 1943. Spent a career in the U.S. Army in the 1940s and 50s, serving in Europe (WWII/Purple Heart), Japan, Korea and several stateside locations. Retired in 1959. Followed this with a career with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring in 1983.

Survived by one son.
