VISITOR STRICKEN BY HEART ATTACK
Mrs. Everett L. Stevens, of St. Louis, MO., mother of Mrs. Oliver P. Terry died unexpectedly from heart trouble Saturday afternoon at the home of Dr. & Mrs. Terry, 215 Sheetz street, West Lafayette, where she and her husband were visiting.
Mr. and Mrs. Stevens, who had both been seriously ill with bronchial pneumonia, in April, had come here for weeks ago to recuperate.
Born in Sunny Brook, 12 miles from Baltimore, Md, she was married to Charles Drumheller at Harrisburg, PA., and a short time later they removed to St. Louis for residence. There Mr. Drumheller, who was a well known music composer, died in 1900.
Mr. Stevens, to whom she was married in 1902, and Mrs. Terry, the daughter by the first marriage, are the only survivors.
Mrs. Stevens was affiliated with the Kings' Highway Presbyterian Church, the Town club, Minerva Current Drama club and other social clubs in St. Louis, and also well known in this city where she frequently visited.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Rogers & Smith funeral home at 4 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, with Dr. W.R. Graham of Central Presbyterian church, officiating.
Burial will take place in Springvale cemetery. It is announced that friends may call at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday. (Posted in the Lafayette Journal and Courier, Monday, June 20, 1932. page 11)
