"James R. Langton
James R. Langton, 28, 738 Saint Road, Richland, died Sunday. He was born May 14, 1941 in Detroit. He was a physicist at Douglas United Nuclear, a member of American Nuclear Society, graduate of University of Missouri, member of Sigma Phi Sigma, National Honor Society; Phi Cappa Phi, and Reorganized Latter-day Saints Church, Independence, Mo.
Survivors include his wife, Harriet; daughter, Jennifer; parents, Dr. and Mrs. M. D. Langton, Independence; sister, Mrs. Carole Adams, Independence, and grandmother, Mrs. Georgia Ingram Brooklyn, Michigan.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Speaks Funeral Home, Independence, with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Benton-Franklin Mental Health Association, 207 A N. Dennis St., Kennewick. Einans Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements."
