HOUSTON - William Clyde Crump,Jr.,age 63, died Sunday, October 24, 1993 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 26 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Chickasaw Memorial Gardens with Minister Dexter Beavers and Minister Randy Langley officiating.
The son of the late William Clyde Crump, Sr., and the late Mable Lois Gordon, he was lifelong resident of Chickasaw County. He was a retired Dry Cleaner Owner-Operator and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mildred Lowery Crump of Houston;two daughters, Arlene Beckham and Anita Joy Nabors, both of Aberdeen;four sons, Gene Crump of Houston, Mike Crump and David Crump, both of Tupelo and Doug Crump of Mantee; one brother, Jamie Crump of Houston; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott Criddle, James Long, J. I. Lowery, Ronnie Lowery, Henry Alexander and Keith Crump. Honorary pallbearers were Hassell Franklin, Marvin Pearson, Robert Goza, Bill Culpepper, James Estes and Armor Estes.
