Wife of Uriel M. Ham, passed away Saturday morning, at her home after a lingering illness. Age 64 years. Helen I. Curry was born Oct. 5, 1907, in Brownsville, Texas, moving to Missouri in childhood, where she was married to Mr. Ham on Dec. 27, 1922. In 1927, they moved to Flint, and in 1935, they moved to Saginaw, where she had lived ever since.
Mes. Ham was a member of the Washington Avenue Presbyterian Church; a member and past president of its Ladies Aid Society; a member of the church choir for many years and also a member of Salina Chapter No. 439, O.E.S.
Surviving besides her husband, Uriel; two daughters and three sons; Mrs. Donald (Joan) Tait, Saginaw, Mrs Leslie (Marlene) Neigh and Douglas K. Ham, both of Bridgeport; Ersel E. Ham, Midland, and Uriel W. Ham of Madison, Conn.; plus 21 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; also two sisters and one brother, Harry Curry, Swartz Creek, Mrs. Monroe Ayres, of Zeplhyrhills, Fla., and Mrs. Robert Brinkley of Miami Springs, Fla.
Services were held Tuesday at the Washington Ave. Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Richard C. Meske officiating. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Garden.
