Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday for Junior Sowers, 61, of Wagoner. The Rev. Willie Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Ross Mayes Cemetery at Salina under direction of Hersman Funeral Home.
Born March 13, 1926, Mr. Sowers died Friday, January 1, 1988, at Wagoner Community Hospital.
He was a minnow dealer in this area for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife and a daughter. Survivors include two brothers; Floyd and Travis, both of Wagoner; three sisters, Margie Meeks and Irene Scroggins, both of Wagoner, and Mary Blue of Coffeyville, Kansas; and three grandchildren.
