Indiana had five more children by Charlie. They were Bettie, Walter, Lorenzo, Roscoe, and Maude Smith. Most of these children were born in the town of Winston, Forsyth County, North Carolina. Charlie died 1904, and in that very same year, Indiana married a widower named Samuel A. Price, who came in as a stepfather to her children. This husband also predeceased her.
