Well Known Woman is Paralysis Victim Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Talkington, 87, widow of the late Philip Talkington, who died at the home of her son, Charles Talkington, yesterday will be held from the Tabernacle church in this city at 1 pm tomorrow afternoon, conducted by Rev. Eugene Martin. The body will be laid to rest in the City cem. Mrs. Talkinton, who had been in poor health for a number of years, suffered a stroke of paralysis last June from which she never recovered. She was for many years a resident of this city before going to the home of her son at Mt. Liberty about a year ago and was highly esteemed by all who knew her. Mrs. Talkington was an aunt of the late Major W.T. Strickland, of this city, and besides her son, Charles, she is survived by the following sons and daughters: Lafayette Talkington, of East Columbus; Mrs. Sarah Hitch, of this city; Mrs. Martha Aiken, of St. Louis Crossing; Mrs. Etta Lambert, of near Taylorsville, and Mrs. Lottie Henderson, of Indianapolis.
