He was born September 12,1916 in Michigan City, IN and moved to Edwardsburg from Osceola. He married the former Ester "Pat" Gordon in Hattiesburg, MS on January 22, 1942. Mr. Januchowski was awarded a bronze star during World War II, and was commissioned an officer on the battle field at Guadalcanal.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Dennis ; a daughter, Mrs. Larry Taylor of Wyoming, DE; two brothers, Clemence and Edward, both of Michigan City and two sisters, Mrs. Sidney Rice of Michigan City,and Mrs.Sidney Samuelson of Portage,IN.
Warner Funeral Home, Osceola, IN handled the services. Rev Charles Gushwa, pastor of the Granger United Missionary Church officiated and burial was in Edwardsburg Cemetery. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 88 of Elkart.
