Mrs. Effie Mae Harvey, age 85, of Macclenny, Fla., died Wednesday, November 1, 2000, in W. Frank Wells Nursing Home. She was a native of Lake City, Fla. and a life long resident of Baker County, Fla. She was a member of the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church and a homemaker. She was predeceased by her first husband of nineteen years, Joe Starling; second husband of forty-three years, Morris "Buck" Harvey; son, Rev. Neil Starling. She was the daughter of the late Oliver and Tina Yonn Sweat. Survivors include her son, Rev. Dewe Starling (Betty) of Macclenny, Fla.; daughters, Doris Burnham (Johnny) of Macclenny, Fla. and Geraldine (Jim) Rotenberry of Summerfield, Fla.; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service was conducted on Saturday, November 4, 2000, at 1:00 p.m. in the Glen Friendship Tabernacle Church with Rev. Albert Starling and Rev. Tommy Anderson officiating. Interment followed in Macedonia Cemetery, Baker County, Fla. The family received friends on Friday, November 3, 2000, in Guerry Funeral Home, U.S. 90 East, Macclenny, Fla. Active pallbearers were Dewey "Buddy" Starling, Jr., Joseph Burnham, David Burnham, Neil Martin, Jr., Lonnie Starling and Frankie Burnham.
