Mr. Jones lived in Topeka before moving to Overland Park (KS) 19 years ago.
He was a driver for ABF freight system in Kansas City. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of Overland Park Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Jones of the home; three sons, Clarence Jones Jr, Fort Collins Colorado, Ronald Jones, Omaha Nebraska, and James Jones, Walnut Creek, California; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia Klingler, Lenexa Kansas, and Karen Jones, Leawood Kansas; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Brannon, Kansas City; 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. Friends may call at the Overland Park Chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home until time of service. Memorial contributions may be sent to Overland Park Church of the Nazarene, Newcomer Funeral Home, Kansas City, is in charge of arrangements.
