The online Colorado City Cemetery transcription describes the name as "Mary Louise Thomas", born August 23, 1857 and died on June 2nd, 1918.

Update: The headstone photo now provided by Beth Love (thank you!) shows the name as Mary Louisa and the birth year as 1857. Will add Louisa in as the nickname as I'm still not sure if it isn't just a variation on Eliza; will now use the 1857 birth year engraved on the headstone for this memorial but with the caution that the 1851 date mentioned above may be the correct date of birth. Sigh.
