MACON - Paige Hayes-Hatton, 38, died Monday, March 8, 2010. Services will be held at 2P.M., on Friday, March 12, 2010, at Byron Baptist Church with Rev.Harris Malcomb officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8:30P.M., on Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Byron Baptist Church. -Born in Florence, SC, Paige grew up attending Byron Baptist Church and graduated from Peach County High School in 1989.She worked as an insurance sales supervisor at Geico for the past twelve years and was in charge of recognizing top performers there and arranging their celebrations. She, herself, was a recipient of Geico's Gold Chairman's Award. She received her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Macon State College and completed her B.A. in accounting at Wesleyan College with a 4.0 grade point average. She was currently enrolled in the M.B.A. program at Wesleyan College with a 4.0 grade point average and planned to teach there this summer.She received her second degree black belt in karate, training at Ahn's Fitness Center. An avid Disney World fan, Paige and David vacationed there on their honeymoon, and many other times. She was a devoted mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, daughter-in-law and friend. -Survivors include her husband of fifteen years, David W.Hatton Jr. of Macon; their children, Shelton Chase Hatton, Torie-Kate Hatton and Kendi-Kae Hatton, all of Macon; parents, Kathy and Charles Hayes,Sr. of Byron; brothers, Charles Hayes Jr. and Chris Hayes, both of Byron; maternal grandmother, Katherine Woodard of Macon; mother-in-law, Janis Anthony of Fort Valley; brother-in-law and his wife, Jay and Carissa Hatton of Byron and sister-in-law and her husband, Holly and Ken Sikes of Perry; nieces and nephews, Bryson T. Hayes, Sadie E. Hayes, and Jacob Hatton of Byron, and Kaley Sikes, Hannah Sikes and Kensley Sikes of Perry, and her husband's grandmother, Cubie Jones of Perry. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Catherine Page Hayes, Perry H. Hayes and A.E. Woodard Jr. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron is in charge of arrangements.
