Original Obituary appears in the Spartanburg Herald Journal Obituary Section on, Friday, Aug. 18, 1961, on page 12.

Tryon, NC - James Alfred Case, drowned in an irrigation pond near Inman, SC on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1961. Son of Stanford James and Lucile Nichols Case. He was 14 years of age at demise and interment was in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery . (Original obituary was rewritten to conform to Findagrave Rules by Record Hunter.)
