TOMBSTONE: "Benjamin Franklin Levering d. March 12, 1829, aged 13 m. 17 d."

From a reprint of: "The Levering Family: Or A Genealogical Account of Wigard Levering and Gerhard Levering, Two Of The Pioneer Settlers of Roxborough Township, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania" by Horatio Gates Jones, 1858; Appendix (Note C), reprint page numbers 190-193: "A list of persons named Levering buried in the Roxborough graveyard [Leverington Cemetery], extracted from the Book of Records kept by the Trustees of the graveyard, and also gathered from the tombstones. The list is, of course, very imperfect, as in early times few tombstones were put up, and the Records do not begin until September 1786. The letter 'd' stands for died, and 'b' for buried." [pg. 190] AND "Adjoining this burial ground [Leverington Cemetery] is the graveyard of the Roxborough Baptist Church. The following Leverings are some of the large number buried there, as taken from the tombstones" [pg. 193]
