Willis D. Ottinger, 82, Salem Road, Parrottsville, died Wednesday at his home after an extended illness of acute myeloid leukemia.

He was born Sept. 5, 1921, in Parrottsville.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Mary Dee Ottinger; his son and daughter-in-law: Allen and Janie Cline Ottinger, and a granddaughter: Haley Ottinger, a grandson and his wife: Brad and Stephanie Gelinas Ottinger, a brother and sister-in-law: Trent and Mary Ottinger, two sisters and a brother-in-law: Charlsie O. Hawk and Joan and Charles Birdwell, a sister-in-law: Dorothy Kiker Ottinger.He was a son of the late Charlie and Bessie Bowers Ottinger, and was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers: John B. Ottinger and Glenn Ottinger; and two sisters: Luster O. LaFollette and Blanche Ottinger.
