Thelma Byrd Clowers, 79, of Poplar Springs Road, died early Friday morning at home.
Mrs. Clowers was a daughter of the late Andrew and Lou Ella Lewis Byrd and was the widow of Homer A. Clowers, her husband of 52 years.
