Funeral for Randy "Fat Randy" Whitney, 47, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
Mr. Whitney died Friday, March 5, 2010, in Lawton.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
He was born Oct. 24, 1962, in Lawton and graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1981. He married Tina DeLapp. He was a career businessman in Lawton and was well respected by his peers. He was an instant friend to many.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four children: Samantha DeLapp, Lawton; Randall P. Whitney, Houston, Texas; Robert DeLapp and Kenneth DeLapp, both of Lawton; three grandchildren: Kenneth A. DeLapp, Ardmore; Robert DeLapp Jr. and Taitem Schladenhauffen, both of Lawton; his grandmother, Mollie Scanlon, Lawton; his parents: Sandra and Bob Glidewell, Lawton; a sister, Laura Darling Dinapolis, Louisiana; a brother, Robert Lee Darling, Lawton; four cousins: Troy Norred and Ronny Norred Jr., both of Ada; Debbie Brinkman, Illinois; and Brian Darling, Las Vegas, Nev.; an uncle, Ronny Norred, Dallas, Texas; and a great aunt, Marie Stegall, Dallas, Texas.
